there is know way to pull this motor from th top without seperating the transmisiion and the ac comppressor. I just removed my motor in my drive way. here is a tool list needed
a pair of jack stands.
A atv liff.
10 12 13 15 16 18 mm socketts.
A half in drive breaker bar.
A fuel line removal tool.
and a 3 ton hydraulic jack.
Pry bars.

Here are the stepps to do so.
1: Disconnect the battery terminals.
2: On the passenger side behind the glove compatment is the ecu under the carpet. It is located on the far right side. Remove wire harness from ecu. After removing harness and additional junction clips found in the same location. now go under the hood. The harness passes threw the fire wall by the passenger strut bearing. carefully pull wiring harness out of vehicle. I any snagging occur be sure to check to if any attachment still exist.
3: Remove the exuast down pipe.
4: Now jack the front of the car. You want the radiaotr support frame to be at leat 34" Inches off of the ground. Be sure to set jack stand as close to the front as posiible. May be even use 4 for safety.
5: Using the 15 mm socket and breaker remove the 4 bolts that hold the lower suspension bars or a arm. After bolts are removed use pry bar to remove them from the sub frame.
6: Remove red power wire from the starter and alternator.
7: remove fuel lines and the vacume line that is attached with the fuel line.
8: remove both throttle cable and clutch cable. Now remove the shift linkage.
(now your engine trannmision and wire harness are all one entity. then can now be pulled as one assembley.
9: wheel the atv jack under car use 4X4 peices of wood to creat a table if need jack up the lift till it touched the sub frane be sure to shim it so it says level and secure. Also use a tie straps or comealong to secure motor and trans to the lift.
10: Under Battery there are 2 16mm bolts the is one of the tranny mounts. remove these bolts after these bolts have been removed the tranny will settle on the sub frame a little dont worry it will be ok.
11: On the passenger side in the wheel well ther are 2 more 16mm bolt attacht to the ac compressor. Remover these. the are the last 2 bolt holding the motor 2 the frame.
12 make sure the lift is stable.
13 on the sub frame there are 4 bolts two are 18 mm and the other two are 16mm. remove these.
14 now the motor is free. Slowly lower the jack. keep inspecting to make sure nothing remains connected.

Well good luck
