Have a 99 9-3 for last 2 years, no problems, but the ignition had always cut out for a split second over bad bumps, not ever enough to kill the engine but enough to feel it. Not knowing much about Saabs, this being my first, thought the DI casette was going and bought a new one and threw it in the trunk for a swap when needed. Soon after I prepaired myself for the enevitible the problem went away until last month.
Now it is much worse and a relay buzzes under the dash and the engine cuts dead, the relay continues to buzz and no fire for the engine until I till I turn the key off and on. After that the car runs fine for a week or so and it happens again. Can't pop the clutch while coasting to get going again, Batterey power NOT cutting out though, have to turn key off and on to get going again.
Will not duplicate symptoms for the shop.
Should I put in the new cassette??? Dosen't sound like the cassette though.
My First Saab
Any ideas??
And if a relay where is it??
Thanks
