Good morning Wayne,
I have just replaced my siren batteries last week on my '99 9-5. Really not a bad job. I did disconnect my battery terminal just for good measure and had no problems. It only takes 2 seconds. The hardest part was desoldering the old batteries and keeping the solder from crossing onto another part of the circuit.
I bought the batteries from AGT Battery Supply online for $26 incl shipping.
Hope this helps,
Mike
