We are just a happy bunch of people sharing personal stories.

And yes, some people happily says it works perfect just because it worked on their car.

We have also some strange stories ones in awhile with cracked pistons or connecting rods out the side of engine block, but we never get the full story most of the time and what alterations they have done to the car.

Some topics are talked about over many years and it all depends on how deep you want to dig while searching and how many posts you read before making up your mind.

So the black one might work ok for many users but then you might have a car that start to run lean, or run on bad gasolin and maybe the owner have tweaked the car to get more horse power and suddenly it is enough if the knock curve is not made for it.

I always try to be on the cautious side since I run a shop and cannot afford to do any mistakes. Especially experimenting with unknown parts.
