I loaned my car out for a while so haven't been on Saabnet for about a year as you were inquiring about SAI CEL issues. Now I am back to trying to solve my SAI P0411 CEL. As you found out, cannot remove the system and pull the fuses / relay as you can with a pre OBD II car.

You later posted (just this past spring) about addressing the check valve as a potential problem. What did you find out? Were you able to avoid the CEL? My car may be in the same position, as I hear the pump kick in (at random times, mind you .. maybe vacuum related?) and it seems to run just fine, but still get the CEL. The pump seems to be fine, but I have not been able to "figure out" how to properly test the other components (such as the valve).

What did you find out? Are you still throwing a CEL?
