02 9-3 Replace 3.5s with 4"s and 2 way 6.5"s or go comp

Im looking to upgrade the stock system. Im torn between replacing the 3.5"s with tweeters from components and leaving the 6.5s in the door, or replacing the 3.5s with 4"s and adding 2 or 3 way 6.5s in the door. Im planning on adding a 4x50 watt amp (decent make) and eventually replace the 6x9s. Any suggestions? Ive been looking at the Polk Audio db6500s . Is this an overkill?
