Thanks for the response, Dean! I left the car at a friend's house, I'll try starting it tomorrow morning and see how it does with a cold start. Houston Texas, so cold is relative, but anyway it will be under 90F :).

In answer to your other questions:

The car has about 43,000 miles on it.

The DIC was replaced under the recall about two months ago. I didn't smell anything like burning insulation or fried circuts.

The oil light does come on when I first turn the ignition.

I saw some coffee-grounds like residue in the oil last time I changed it so I know that there is some sludge. Never had trouble starting or running or had the oil light come on so I don't think that it is super bad. Auto-RX is supposed to stay in for ~1500 miles so I'm half way through.

I replaced the PVC nipple, grommet, check valve, and all the vac hoses a couple of months ago. Verified today that everything is still connected.
