Certainly with 136K miles on any car you should be concerned with having to do repairs. Stuff starts to wear out. Here is what I have replaced on my 99 9-3 5 spd so far
110K idler pulley and serp belt (pulley seized, serp belt shredded)
126K DI cassette (1 ignition coil died) and plugs
150K front brake rotors (new pads also, 2nd set of pads)
155K Power steering pump. Was slowly losing fluid
I have a high rpm whine/whir that may be the alternator, but it still functions fine. I also have a tiny oil leak off the back side of the engine that I believe is due to the oil pressure sending unit (I have the part, I just havent been willing to tackle it yet).
The funny thing is that this car still feels really strong. Usually when a car gets this many miles, you don't really want to step on it any more, but this car still really pulls nice, and I dont hesitate to dip into the throttle a bit. I will likely drive it until it dies.
Enjoy
