I am going to try and re-torque my cylinder head to get rid of an EXTREMELY slow coolant leak on the drivers front of the block/head. I am adding coolant about every 3 weeks with driving about 50 miles/day.
My question is I have seen and read a lot about the re-torque of pretty much every year but the 1997-900
Is the proceure the same though. I am aware of the torque sequence.
Is the torque to 44ft.lbs on the 1997? I have seen some descrepency between 44ft.lbs and 45degrees or 90 degrees after???
I am hoping to tackle this simple one this weekend so responces are much appreciated...
thanks,
cm
I know some may say to replace bolts but has one ever broke?
