So, I'm getting my '95 900S back to the point where I really want to drive it again (been chasing some rough idle/stalling issues). Almost got it cured.
Anyway, one larger project I want to do is make this car as quiet (inside and out)as I can (within reason). I will be coating the interior with sound-dampening compound or dynamat. For the engine, is there a high-temp compound I can coat the valve cover with (to reduce the valve noise)? Would powder-coating the cover help at all? I will dynamat the hood. However, I would also like to reduce the engine noise reflecting off of the pavement by covering the undercarriage below the engine. Any heat/airflow concerns?
Any other reasonable or wild suggestion?
Gracias, Amigos!
