Hi Randy,
I can unequivocally state that living in California and being restricted to 91 octane does NOT prevent attaining the red area of the boost gauge, having visited that land many a time.

It was a good idea to replace the MAF as you have done. What about checking the plugs, vacuum lines, and adding some Chevron Techron Concentrate injector cleaner?
