CV R&R - trouble w/tie rod end, ball joint, & sway bar

Finally trying to finish the job I started about 2 weeks ago with the CV joint R&R. I'm now stuck at 3 points:
1) Can't get tie rod end tightened. The nut just keeps spinning with the bolt! Tried to use my gear puller in reverse, no luck.
2) Can't get ball joint nut tightened. (I ended up separating it.) Tried to wedge something on top to hold but no luck.
3) The sway bar/anti-roll bar 10mm nut that gets low torque. I think the threads on the bolt end are bad. The nut doesn't look great either but what I think is a compatible nut also won't work. Is this bolt available on its own? Part number?
Any tips would be much appreciated. The job is overdue for completion.
Thanks, Derek / 1994 900 S V6 169,000mi
Possible solutions I found:
1) I see a clamp on Dip's site for the tie rod ends (http://photo.platonoff.com/Auto/20050210.Saab_NG900_Front_Suspension/?i=20050210i.Clamp.jpg and http://photo.platonoff.com/Auto/20050210.Saab_NG900_Front_Suspension/?i=20050214d.Tie_rod_end.jpg) I don't own one of those--yet.
2) Dip shows using a jack to hold the ball joint (http://photo.platonoff.com/Auto/20050210.Saab_NG900_Front_Suspension/?i=20050214c.Ball_joint.jpg) ) I'll try it tomorrow night.
3) No ideas yet. If I can't buy the bolt, I guess I'm looking at a new sway bar or a die. I'd need to know thread size in order to get a die.
