As ARH said, you can drill it out. It's probably in too tightly due to corrosion for an E-Z Out. Make sure you've got some good sharpened drill bits. That kind of drilling is hard on a bit, so if you've got a bit sharpener like the Drill Doctor, you don't have to go looking for another bit when the one you're using becomes dull. Start fairly small, making sure you're in the middle. Then go progressively wider. After you've got the wall thined out, it should tap out pretty easily with a punch, being careful not to bugger up the threads. I've found that for extended period jobs like this, a corded drill is better than a cordless one that loses torque when the battery starts to drain. Also, don't forget to keep some lubrication going when you're drilling.
