2003 9-5 Linear sedan vs. 1997 BMW 528i the bimmer wins hands down. it has twice as many miles as the SAAB, but handles better than the saab did new. it needs some TLC, but I love it anyway. drove it three hours home from NJ last night, and all I can say is wow!!! both cars are a five speed so pretty compareable. Drive ne and you'll have to buy it. the car is Aubergine(plumb)over sand leather (heated) and has all the niceses. can't believe that we lived with the 9-3 for so long. I would not hesitate to put so money into this car and it won't lose its value as embassasingly fast as the 9-3 did $8000 to $1800 in 15 months plus over 1000$ of repais in that time unbelieveable!!! Oh well, I LOVE my BMW, I forgive it for 4 rust bubbles because of 153,000 miles and 10 years. But the saab 9-3 at 7 years and 93,000 miles is unacceptable. Anyway I'll the the bimmer fixed and be good for some years. PLus the BMW key battery is SOOOOO much easier to change than SAAB.
