On a more practical note if it really is going to be months of use, I'd be sure to get rid of the Viggen rims for the duration and throw on some 16" wheels and tires. I'd also get under the car once in awhile to touch up the rock chips and check the air cleaner regularly.
When I had my 9k Aero we had to drive 2 miles of broken pavement from the house to the main road. It rode like a Viggen so you might need a mouth guard to prevent chipped teeth :-)
