Hey all

97 900 SET Auto 122kmi.
Just brought the car in this morning to have my new remote programmed. Just before I was leaving the mech told me two things were leaking

1. both axels where they go into the tranny are leaking, not bad maybe just drips, but still leaking

2. power steering is leaking, he said where the line goes into the rack, prolly just a worn/cracked hose, but leaking bad.

My questions are these

1. I am in the process of hunting down parts to stop the axel leak, is this a job too difficult for a DIYer or should I have the shop do it ? has anyone ever done this/had this done by mechanic, if so how pricey is it ?

2. what part(s) do I need to correct the p/s leak issue ?
