Maybe, maybe not. It depends on what's broken and where it is broken.

If it is the common problem with heater flap doors it might be possible to repair the vent mechanism for less but the dealer might not do that since the proper repair sanctioned by Saab is to take out the A/C housing and replace broken parts.

You can search for code 08 and read about it.
