I myself remove the switch back from the side towards the front of the car using small narrow screw driver in the crease. It lifted out and removed very easily. I used a clearer from radioshack for electronic circuits to clean the switches. The switch assemble takes a little bit of work to get appart, there are tabs and slots around the outer side to disassemble it I think six and I used utilty knife blades to hold the saparation on other tabs while releasing others to be undone. The unit is very rugged, once apart some of the switch rocker ares may just fall out. There are two type of rocker arms, nine sigle sided and two double sided, double sided meaning they can make an electrical connection on both sides. The double sided are used for the front windows. I used to the elctronics cleaner on everything, it had consumed lots of beverages so it was very dirty. I then used a pencil eraser to clean all contacts, (places electrical connects are made when operating a switch. reasseble and everything worked, even the light that illuminates the switch pack. Another option would be to call Goldwing saab and see how much for used. I have some pictures of it but haven't figured out how to pst with the URL
