One thing to keep in mind, if you do a little searching, you will find that the vibration issue at highway speeds under light load is quite common to this car. As someone who has spent probabaly $4000.00 ( no mistake ) to eliminate this vibration from my car over the last 3 or 4 years, wheel balance is most likely not the issue. I would say that it is caused by companations of wear in the frt. wheel bearings, driveshafts and general frt suspension wear. The two things that made the biggest improvement to my 98 900S were replacing the frt. brake rotors, rust throwing off the general balance of the whole rotor and rust causing poor seating problems with the rim. Also, rusting of the center rim hole caused uneven seating of the rim on both the brake rotor and the wheel balancer. O'regans sanded off the center hole for a better fit on the balancer and found that by mounting the rim with a different cone backwards on their roadforce balancer was far more accurate. like I said, $4k later the car is 85% better. Funny thing though, the car is sonmewhat smoother with the 15" Saab steel wheels and snow tires than with the 16" OE rims and my expensive Falkin tires...go figure. I suspect that I am good for 1 more Saab in my life, thinking about a late model 95 next year. It still has "some" Saab in its genes. Makes me mad though, mine only has 150K on it, my last one, a 87 900S had almost 400K on it before the frt. frame rails gave out. The car is in really great shape, but the vibration has really put me off buying another new Saab. Been looking at an S40....but that is another story. Best of luck
