Hello, I have a 2000 Saab 9-3 (5 speed) base model that is approaching 100,000 miles. I currently have an extended warranty and have used it at least three times for some expensive repairs. I am trying to decide if it is worth it to extend my warranty (apparently if I do so before it hits 100,000 miles, I may extend it for another 24,000 miles.) It is important to note that the car is paid for and I'm hoping to drive it for at least another two years. The ext. warranty is pretty pricey (approx. $1800 - $2000) but I believe it may be better than getting a very large bill up front if I need a major repair and I don't have coverage. It is also important to note that I have diligently provided proper care/maintenance - always had the oil changed regularly, etc. My question centers around what problems can I expect to have for this car (2000 9-3) and what could the most expensive repair possibly be? Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!!
