i hate doing repairs in the winter. I have a two bay garage with a small kerosane heater and it just doesn't cut it. The tools tend to stay cold no matter what. unfortunately cars break in the winter and I am actually doing a full rear brake over hual onmy 900 se not to mention I am flush the brake fluid system. The thing is I have found works best is turn the heater on before you bring you car into the garage and make sure the car is fully warmed up to operating temp. When you bring the car in turn it off and pop the hood and let it cool. The heat from the engine heats up the garage pretty fast and its free. Though as hot as the air gets the concrete never really warms up. Living in upstate New York does not help. Best thing to do I think is wait until the weather is permitting and this year has been good to us on the east coast I most say 70 degrees on a january day is amazing. Thanks global warming:-p Good luck replacing those parts. Your best chance is junkyard with pull it yourself policies. I have one that has all you can pull days in the spring and fall I usually spend 10 + hours there pulling on those days!
