It isn't that difficult to take apart and repair those switches. Generally they fail because they get gummed up with spilt liquids. Get some electrical contact cleaner from Radio Shack and maybe some fine emory paper to clean up the contacts and you should be back in business. Like vovo222 says, there are some copper pieces that will probably fall out when you pry the cover off but if you study them you can figure out how it goes together. I've done it more than once on my cars. What have you got to lose? And you may save yourself some bucks.
