900s idle issues

in the past month my 1995 900s has developed some issues. it all started when the idle pully siezed up and threw the serp belt. had that replaced, along with a motor mount. since then the engine will not idle correctly. i always thought that it idling at just over 1000rpm was strange, but from what i understand that is the nature of the beast. recently it has rough idle at start-up and then when warm jumps to 1500 and up to 2000rpm. i'm not finding anything sticking, running high oct gas... the check engine light will come on, but when i took it to the shop for them to diagnose, they could not get the computer to give a code... i'm about to bite the bullet and take to a saab dealer, but wonder if anyone had similar issues in the past?
