Hi Ryan, I am looking at the same things with our (wife's) 99 9-3. On our car I found that the previous owner put 215/55R16 tirs on, the car originally came with 195/60R15. These tires are almost 2" taller than the originals and makes the car handle terribly. However we also need struts up front & shocks in the rear. I would say that if you are installing OEM struts, bearings ect. you might as well replace the front springs with OEM. You will be taking the strut out & disassembling so might as well go back together with new front springs. Hope this helps. Coldshot............
