I've got the same issue on my 2003 vert. Driver side high beam won't go on - get the "Frontlight Failure" message.
Then, if you turn off the car and restart, it will work (sometimes) , of course only until I need the high beams, then it won't.
Shop already tried replaing a relay - problem came back; then they said bad connection and they fixed - problem came back; going back in on Monday - hopefully 3rd time's a charm!
Any ideas??
