Put the 17" double spokes back on after removing the 16" snows last week. I have 215/45/17 Falken Zeiks. I live in NYC area and we are not known for having the best roads. Since I put the 17's back on I have hit moderate potoles on two separate occassions that seemed to hit the wheel. This did not happen al winter long with the 16s. I was wondering how tall a tire I can run on these wheels. I was parked next to an Audi vert at work today that had 235/45/17 and the sidewall seemed much taller. I think the car looks great with these wheels but I can't deal with damaging them so often.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
TIA
DanC
