Ditto that. Just picked one up with 117K, but had solid sense (since confirmed) that it was well maintained. Wondered why the guy insisted on synth oil - I'm a dino man myself - but have since learned synch is recommended. A plus is being able to stretch oil changes out a bit. Look for leaks. I have a front axle seal leaking (about $175) and I had one episode with a CEL that really had no codes... suggested it was the DI cassette and that I should pick up a used one ($25-$30 on eBay) and keep it in the trunk. Other than that I love this vehicle and if the CEL stays off (a common problem also with the old Benzes in my fleet) I will gladly put myself in the "highly recommends" category. Prices used can go from $5k to $7K and up depending on Mileage and upkeep. DO get it checked over by a knowledgable Saab wrench who knows what to look for.
