Mike ,Sorry about that. I own three Saabs, 87/900t-91/c900s-96-ng900s and bounce around on the different sites. I was tHinking a 9000,WRONG!!!. Anyway, open the hood and look down at where your cable runs.. You should see a little torx screw with a clamp holding the cable. loosen clamp just enough to slid cable to the driver side / until you can see the slack out of the lever its attach to.(look through hole) Tighten the clamp and try. Spray lube under the lever. If the locking rod up on the hood is loose, you might have to add a jamb nut to the threaded end. It just screws into the hood. Old style on 9000 had a barrel nut for the cable and a jamb nut for the rod for finer adjustment. "Trying to make things" Peace! better"??????????????????????
