I've AT Italia Nidos that are 18x8 with a 35 mm off-set on my '02 Viggen with 225/35-18 Goodyear F1s.

I have had the tires rub twice under full load and high speed, even then it was minor. Otherwise no issues and the Nidos have forged rims so I'm sure they handle most bumps....again no issue.

I've heard that an off-set of 40 - 45 mm is a safer bet, probably true if you intend to lower the car.

I'm very happy with how the car feels with 18s....the steering is much more direct, tire roll doesn't exist and road is very good without harshness. Looks oh so sexy too....

Best of luck chosing your wheels. There are some people selling some nice used 5 spoke Borbets....you'll see them on a MC yellow coupe on some of the forums....Rogo is the owner I believe,
