I would back each off then tighen to stage I. If you use a not ratchet bar, you will probably find that stage I turns past where you were.
Start by checking the bolts closest to the battery first and deal with any that move easily with a +ve check torque. Loose ones are often found there.
Then remove one at a time and take the new bolt to stage I, then take all to stage II etc following the pattern specified.
Engine needs to be fully cooled off whe torqued.
