I was in the same boat as you are!
Last summer I had a bent rim, and I loved the look of the Viggen rims so much I couldn't bear to go with something different. I took my one bent rim to the shop, and they straightened it and repainted it. I think cost for me was $115 including tire removal/mounting and rebalance.
It's on it's second summer now, and I still haven't bent it or another wheel. I think if it one of those rims were going to bend, it would do it regardless of if you had them previously refinished or not. (If that makes sense)
Now, the only thing to watch out for is the newly refinished wheels will most likely look much better than your old ones. If you are going to straighten 3 bent wheels, see if they can just refinish/repaint a 4th for less money. This way they will all match. When I did mine, my old ones were flaking a bit so the brand new one looked a little better, but you couldn't tell from 10' away the difference.
Any other questions, feel free to e-mail me or post here.
