Considering replacing SPG w/ '99 Viggen - Thoughts? Posted by Wil W [Email] (#1148) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Wil W) on Sat, 18 Aug 2007 16:58:22 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm usually on the C900 and 9-5 boards, and have only checked the NG board on occasion. I thought I'd get the experts opinions on this potential move.
I am considering replacing my '89 SPG w/ 155K miles w/ a '99 Lightning Blue Viggen 3dr w/ 120+K. The SPG is still running strong and obviously a teenager at 155K but it's starting to age at nearly 19yrs. Everything is in good working condition inside/out, but it is starting show a little rust at the door bottoms and the door rub points. I also have a '02 9-5 Aero Wagon (Auto) that is the more "practical" family car that future wife drives.
How does the Viggen compare to the SPG and the Aero? Obviously more power, more refinement and updated safety equipment than the SPG. Less hp/torque, refinement, and space than the Aero. I might consider keeping the whole stable, but only have a 2 car garage and I live in upper midwest.
Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks.
