You have been locked out of your radio by the security system. Have you looked through any papers that came with the car for a small card that has the code printed on it? If you can't find it, you'll have to pull the radio and get the code from Saab. Your radio should say "CODE IN" when you're locked out, but sometimes we get the "----". I don't know if this works, but I copied the following procedure from another forum for you to clear the "----" and get the "CODE IN".
1)Turn on the radio it will display “----“
2)hold down the “BAND” button until “Code In” appears
3)leave it like this and shut off the car
4)Next time you get in the car it will still say “code in” then you can put in the code and it works.

If this doesn't clear the "----", we'll start pulling the radio fuses.
