You can actually do the job in a couple of hours with no damage to your seats. I did both of mine one afternoon. You just have to take the seats out, unbend some rings that hold down the material, and roll the upholstery up until you can see where the cables attach to the release levers. Then you snap the cable spacers inbetween the cables where they loop around the release lever, and put it all back together.
