Well, it sounds like at this point that you don't know exactly what's wrong so it is difficult to speculate.
It is no use to replace the clutch slave cylinder if the clutch master cylinder is the culprit. And the master cylinder is mounted outside the transmission.
So first the real problem needs to be established and then you know what it costs to repair.
If the transmission needs to be removed, the whole clutch with slave cylinder and seals should be replaced, even the rear engine seal.
