So I assume that as a stick driver, you've found the sport mode on your 99 9-3 auto? Very similar performance the 210hp Arc and the 200hp 9-3 SE. The older 9-3 definitely wins the low end punch award, torque peaks I think around 700 revs lower at 1,800 revs vs 2,500 for the ARC, and that makes the auto particularly well suited to the turbo and can keep die hard sticks fans happy.
And the wood dash of the OG9-3 gives the older car a richer warmer feel.
Must be lotsa' smooth roads in your area as the disadvantage to the OG9-3 is in the ride and handling area.
