fogging oil for Viggen storage..

So a few people have suggested putting foggin oil in the cylinders...and it appears a few have thought the same in previous posts...I have never done this before. What socket do I need to use for the removal of the spark plugs? Once I remove them and spray the oil, for the remainder of the storage period, would I keep them and the DI cassette indoors? I'm sure it's all pretty simple, but I don't want to screw anything up...
As always, your help is really appreciated! (what would I do without it...)
