Hi there,

I was driving a my girlfriend's 9-3 a few days ago in traffic, and the check engine light came on. I pulled over a checked the fluids, for any thing obvious, but it was fine. The car drove normally -- it was not in limp home mode. It stayed on for 3 days -- 6 times the car was turned on. Then, on the drive to the mechanic, it simply turned off and stayed off. The mechanic could not find any error codes, nor could he spot anything wrong.

The car is an automatic, with ~44k miles on it. Big 45K tune up done a few months ago.

Any Ideas? Should I worry about it? The car is still under warranty for a few more months (it was a dealer's test drive model).
