I just bought my first SAAB this last fall. A 1998 900SE 2.0 L turbo convertible and I just love it. It is stored now for the winter but want to get ready for this spring. When I first tried out the car to the time I bought it, they had put on 3000 miles. I doubt if the oil was changed during this time. I do not know what type of oil was used in it either. Therefore, would it be safe to use an engine flush and start with a synthetic from there on out. Is an engine flush safe for the turbo? What type of flush should I use?
