Had a Volvo 740 wagon and a Lancia Thema in France. The Lancia Thema and Fiat Chroma are the same car as the Saab 9000. The Thema/Chroma were very popular in their day, so there are alot of them around. Fiat/Lancia sponsored the Tour de France, they provided hundreds of Thema/Chromas for the race support caravan and sold them off each year after the event. Many amateur bike racing clubs in France bought the cars from the TdF, so you see quite a few logo-bedecked-bike-racked pseudo-Saabs running around France. 9000/Thema/Chroma are considered large and poor on gas for France, they are not popular so you can get one pretty cheap. There is a Swedish car specialist in Val d'Oise, a department north of Paris, I can't recall the name but a Google search might find him.
