I'm talking about he software version that the dealer updates. I was at an indie looking at a 2000 9-3, they showed me a list of what had been done to the car. They said the software had the latest upgrade, it had like a 10 digit number, but he said it's the first four that you are looking at. You want to see 5383, not 5381 in those first four digits.

How do you determine which version you have??
