radiator leak?

1995 900 2.3 N/A 140,000 bought it new. the low coolant light has been coming on. oil is ok, no apparent head gasket issue. I let it get nice and dry and ran it in the garage for 15 minutes. on the passengers side of the radiator, there is a water hose that attaches at the bottom. that looks good, but an inch or so to the drivers side of that are a few drops of coolant on the "shelf" down there. does anyone know if this is indicative of the radiator leaking at the bottom crimp?
