Turn all the electrical accessories on. Does the headlights look yellow? If everything is running strong and bright, I would think the battery is just getting old. If the battery is more than three years old, I would suspect it to need replacing. Hows the connectors on the battery terminals, are they clean? If the battery is the type that you can remove the filler caps, every cell should look as clean a drinking water when looking into each one with a flashlight. If ANY are clouded, then replace with a new battery. With a good alternator, you should see around 14 volts at the pos. battery terminal with added RPM, around 1200. When it's cold outside the engines sensors and computer senses it's cold and adds more fuel upon start-up. Va-room
