Maybe your keyfob remote battery is dead? or the car doesn't recognize your key anymore for some reason? I dunno if it's related, or will help, but I found out the other day, if you pop your hood before you remove the key from the ignition (or open the door?) the alarm goes off and won't stay off :) I had to leave the key in the ignition, get out, open and fully close the hood, and then I could remove the key :)
