Brake bleeding advice needed

Did new-to-me brake work on my '94 900 over the past 2 weeks. Previously, I had only changed pads and rotors. Faced with various issues (including 5.5-year-old fluid), I flushed and changed the brake fluid, replaced master cylinder, replaced front calipers, and put new pads on rear. (Front pads still OK.)
I did calipers first and like a moron, did not siphon off the old fluid first. I left the brake lines open for 4-5 DAYS (groan) while I did the job at my leisure. When I finally sealed it up, I flushed 2 liters of Valvoline fluid through... and pushed pedal to floor (groan). Brakes were very weak and mushy, not safely drivable. I used the Motive Power Bleeder 3 times and didn't seem to be getting bubbles any longer.
I replaced the master cylinder (was worried before this that it was going bad anyway) and flushed another liter + of Valvoline fluid through. No improvement. Finally switched to the time-tested 2-man approach and bled thoroughly twice. Got better (driveable) results but the brakes are still mushy vs what they should be. Do I need to bleed MORE? Or should I punt and take to dealer now? Can it really be anything besides some lingering air in the lines?
Note: car has to go to dealer soon anyway since the ABS light has been on and TCS acting wacky for several weeks.
Thanks, Derek / 1994 900 S V6 185,000mi
