At 120K, first headlight wiper motor tanked on my 2001 Base 9-3. Lots of use in NYS winters, keeping tire spray off the windshield, and the lights. (The headlights overcame the wipers and froze over a only a handful of times in eight winters.) Now, about three months later, at 127K, the passenger headlight motor is also sitting akimbo, joining its mate. I conclude that this is a design wear limit for the internal gears. Thank you, Bosch.
I figure the headlight wipers are more likely to go in winter climes, and that it is more related to miles than years.
Side note. I had to have the AC recharged for the first time this Spring.
