In the process of removing my parking brake lever to replace it or the stud the parking brake cable attaches to, I removed the center console (not the ignition switch thank goodness).
So I didn't disconnect the battery.
I know I disconnected the rear seat heater, and the window switch pack.
All seems well with those.
Upon trying to start after reassebly, "Key Not Accepted' on SID (yes i had to connect the dots).
I'm able to start ok by pressing the unlock button then cycling key off- start, needs to be done each time.
Remote OK for lock / unlock.
I'll be back in there when brake lever replaced / repaired,
--- is there a particular connector I should look at?
I did see the 'remote' antenna near the rear ashtray.
I'm also hoping to locate the boot that sits over the ignition switch - how the hell do you lose something like that?

Good news - recovered $.70 between the seats while i was in there.
