1) oil leak - have you installed the PCV revision #6 yet. Sometimes the old system will allow too much pressure in the oil system and force oil out. Search this board for other possibilities as well.
2) There are several ways of dealing with the SID (display panel), which range from DIY to places that will repair and/or exchange yours. One is listed in the SAAB parts classified the other is linked below.
3) Our 2001 9-3 suffered from the same P0455 code. The first thing to do is make sure the gas cap is on straight and TIGHT! The car seems to be very sensitive to a loose or mis-fitting gas cap. After a 3-5 start-ups, the code should clear. If that doesn't work, go get a new gas cap as the seal on the current one may be bad. Again 3-5 start-ups should clear the code. If that doesn't work then you have some other leak in the Evap system and will need to investigate further.
4) Air filter is difficult to find. May need to order online, try one of the sponsors here. eeuropeparts or Genuine SAAB are good.
