I am curiuos if your AC Clutch is getting weak. On my 01, at the suggestion of a very honest mechanic, I removed the 14 mm nut on the end of the AC Clutch....carefully slipped it off and removed one shim and replaced the clutch. Clutches wear on AC compressors just like the manual clutch on the trans. Anyway, once the tolerance is out, the clutch magnet cannot hold the clutch plate...removing a shim brought it back into tolerance and it works perfectly in 110 degree heat! Took about 20 minutes. Just a suggestion.
