Hey Guys,
I hope you can help me out. I have had my 2000 Saab 9-3 for 6 months now. I have had quite a few issues with it, however I love the car. My CEL light has been on since I purchased it, but I was just able to resolve that issue. However, now I am having problems with, a progressively getting worse, rough idle and acceleration. It has gotten to the point now, where if I do not rev the engine pretty high during the stuttering, the car will die (the battery & oil lights come on when the car is dead). I am getting no CEL and I just changed the spark plugs. I have a new throttle body, just cleaned the purge valve, and the DI cassette seams to be okay. I would clean the IAC, however I don't think that my model has one. I could not find it, and when I asked the dealership where it was, the guy (without looking) said I don't have one. Please...any sort of help would be greatly appreciated, as I have gone through 2 mechanics and about $800 with no avail. I can provide any other information if you need it.
